ATP - The ALBERT HALL

Post by jthspace » Fri Dec 01, 2017 1:05 pm

Grand Slam Champions, former World No.1s and national icons will return to the Hall once again for a dazzling display of high quality tennis and entertainment during the festive season.

Each session will see two matches. The ATP Champions Tour Final is scheduled to be on the final session.

PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENTS
1984 Roland-Garros Doubles champion and current Celebrity MasterChef semi-finalist Henri Leconte returns to the Champions Tennis court in 2017. Plus, former World No.1 Marat Safin is set to make his Champions Tennis debut, joining two-time US Open winner Pat Rafter, British fan favourite Tim Henman and French Open winner Juan Carlos Ferrero, with additional players to be announced in due course.
We went to the tennis session at The Albert Hall yesterday. It is for "seniors" and there were some great tennis and play-acting which had the audience laughing at some of the antics. Henri Leconte was very amusing :)

THURSDAY AFTERNOON
1:30pm – 4:30pm
Malisse v Rafter but Rafter was injured during play and Rusedski took over.
Leconte/Rusedski v Ferreira/Santoro
